Product Details

Brown Stair (Clear Lacquer) consists of 10 brown prisms that remain 20 cm long while increasing in cross-section from 1 × 1 cm to 10 × 10 cm. Finished with clear lacquer, the material introduces dimensional gradation through visual and tactile exploration while supporting coordination, concentration, independence, and problem-solving. The main material is hardwood.

Educational Purpose:
Helps children discriminate differences in thickness, understand dimensional progression, recognize order and sequence, and observe the consequences of incorrect arrangement.

Activity:
Children arrange the prisms from thickest to thinnest, compare their dimensions, and identify changes in the graded sequence.

Set Includes:
• 10 Beech Wood Prisms
• 1 Spare 1 × 1 × 20 cm Prism

Age: 3-6
Safety Testing: CPSIA HR4040 and ASTM F963, tested by a CPSC-accredited laboratory.

Great item

This is a really simple material. Nevertheless it gets a LOT of use in our classroom. It's attractive and durable and has lasted through hundreds of students from year to year. Don't undersetimate the value of this material because of its simplicity!

There are so very many ways to use this material. My son used it repeatedly for more than a year. It works very nicely in combination with the pink tower. Recommended!

Worth every penny!
