Cylinder Block (Part 2) invites children to use the prehensile grip while exploring cylinders of different heights and diameters. Repeated hands-on work supports concentration, coordination, independence, and problem-solving through observation.

Educational Purpose:
Helps children refine visual discrimination of dimension and develop controlled hand movements through comparison of height and diameter.

Activity:
Children remove the cylinders, observe and compare their dimensions, and return each cylinder to its corresponding position.

Set Includes:
• 1 Cylinder Block (Part 2)

Age: 3-6
Safety Testing: CPSIA HR4040 and ASTM F963, tested by a CPSC-accredited laboratory.

Isolates the task very nicely

These are well made and feel good to the touch. They slide in and out of their places smoothly and easily. This helps to isolate the task at hand, which is really I,portent because it allows our students to focus on the purpose of the materials (no wrestling with the materials needed, just pure constructive work!)
