Working with the cabinet supports a foundation for geometry while strengthening prehensile grip, hand-eye coordination, concentration, independence, problem-solving, and skills that prepare the hand for writing. The main material is beech wood.

Helps children recognize, compare, and classify geometric shapes while refining visual and tactile perception and developing controlled hand movements.

Activity:
Children select geometric insets from the drawers, explore and compare their forms, and return each inset to its corresponding frame, reinforcing shape recognition and spatial awareness.

LOVE this cabinet!

After being informed by another vendor that my order for the Geometric Cabinet was on backorder and they weren't certain when it would again be available, I sent an e-mail to Montessori Outlet. MO responded quickly, stating not only was the item in stock, but if I placed my order by noon that day, it would be shipped that same day! The cabinet arrived quickly, packaged securely. All items in the cabinet are lovely. As a homeschooler, I feel confident that this cabinet will last nicely through all three of my children.
