Gets a lot of use

This is a really simple material. Nevertheless it gets a LOT of use in our classroom. It's attractive and durable and has lasted through hundreds of students from year to year. Don't undersetimate the value of this material because of its simplicity!

Surprised at the Quality!

I was surprised at how these have really stood up for a test in my classroom(s). This was part of my very first purchase from MontessoriOutlet so I didn't know what the quality would be like. I've had these boards in two different classrooms now, for a total of nearly 10 months and they have withstood the test of two different sets of 20 curious children. I've had very little flaking off of the sand grains. Some is to be expected, especially after first unpacking them. I prefer these Rough/Smooth boards to the very contrasted-colored pairs due to the fact that when not using a blindfold with the material, the children are less likely to associate the vocabulary they are learning with the colors instead of the textures.
