Single Shape Puzzles is a set of four 1-piece puzzles: Large Circle, Small Circle, Square, and Equilateral Triangle. Children trace and replace each shape while exploring figure-ground relationships and shape names.

Educational Purpose:
Supports gross motor control, hand-eye coordination, visual discrimination, figure-ground perception, and early shape vocabulary.

Activity:
Children remove each shape, trace it with two fingers, name or compare the form, and return it to the matching puzzle space.

Set Includes:

Love Them

I use these for my 2 year old to practice her shapes and will use them just as puzzles for my second daughter when she's old enough. My two year old loves that she can hold the handle on the back and trace the outline of the shape with her finger. The handle means she doesn't get in her own way and can do it by herself. Also, them being one piece puzzles means she can easily put them away and know they're right without having to have me help her. She's very proud of how independent this activity allows her to be. Definitely recommend.
