The Sound Cylinders help to refine a child¡¯s auditory sense, and improves concentration, coordination, independence, and problem solving skills. 2 sets of 6 sealed wooden cylinders that make a distinctive sound when shaken. The cylinders are graded from very soft to loud and each cylinder has either a red or a blue top and is contained in a wooden box with a matching red or blue lid.

Category B: Personal Preferences.

Books are non-returnable. For returns due to personal choice, a 15% restocking fee and return shipping costs apply; original shipping is non-refundable. Furniture returns follow manufacturer policies with a 20% restocking fee for resalable items and no returns if assembled or damaged.

Better than other brands

I read some terrible reviews of this product on other websites, like sounds were too similar. The Montessori Outlet Sound Boxes do not have this problem. There is just the right amount of difference in the sounds to make this activity. challenging but not too difficult.

These have been good. The sounds are recognizably different and the cylinder lids are staying on well.

I was a little nervous about buying this product from a discount store, but I didn't need to be! The cylinders are identical as they should be, both they and the box are well-constructed, and the sounds work very well.
