Botany Cabinet introduces children to leaf shapes found in the natural environment. Through hands-on exploration, children learn to recognize, compare, name, and match different leaf forms while developing observation, concentration, and visual discrimination. The cabinet is made of Baltic Birch Plywood and Germen Beechwood.

Educational Purpose:
Helps children identify common leaf shapes, build botanical vocabulary, refine visual discrimination, and connect classroom learning with plants and trees found in nature.

Activity:
Children remove the leaf-shaped insets, examine and trace their forms, match each inset to its corresponding frame, and compare the shapes with real leaves.

Just as nice as the geometry cabinet and my daughter is eager to get her hands on it, so it's well worth the cost.
